Return to Training
  • The day before training and up to 4.00 p.m. on the day itself, the athletes / coaches / parents will access an app to complete a covid questionnaire along with time of training and coach. There will also be parental consent for U18's.  If they fail to complete there will be no access.

  • On the training day the athletes will meet their coach at a pre appointed location and warm up. Then at 4:45, 5:45 or 6:45 p.m. they will gain access via the pedestrian gate by the 100m start and they will go and train in one of the designated zones. Sanitisers will be at entry and exit points.

  • After 45 minutes all groups will leave their designated areas and will exit via the pedestrian gate.  No persons will be allowed to enter for training until all the previous groups have left.

  • This will give us 10 - 15 minutes to tidy up and sanitise.

  • No-one will enter the clubhouse unless they  need to use the toilets which will have  signage and sanitisers available. This will be monitored.

  • Any athletes who require any throwing equipment will use their own or if not they will be allocated such equipment for the duration of their training session which will be handled by them only and will be sanitised at the end. The lifting of the cage door nets will be managed by the club.

  • Due to operating under covid-19 secure conditions we are limiting the number of coaches and athletes on the track at anyone time.

  • We hope to commence training on Tuesday 30th March 2021.
